The Motivating Factor After School Achievement Program will provide a safe place, open to every participant, to develop their college-readiness, career goals, leadership skills, their emotional and physical health, and their individual passions.

It is our goal for all after school program staff uphold these core values in everything that we do- from the programs we bring into the community, to the staff that we hire to guide the participants, to the messages that we send the participants- both verbal and non-verbal.

 

As an after school program, we strive to:

• Always enable every participant to participate.

• Think about the needs of the participants first.

• Provide a safe place for participants to be at all times.

• Create continuity between the regular school day and after school, keeping all stakeholders from the school involved in the after school program.

• Model good leadership and enable participants to become leaders themselves.

• Give participants the opportunity to shape the after school program to their liking.

• Provide programming that will help participants to succeed in college, leadership, and in life.
